“TOAD WATCH” CINEMA SPOT & CAMPAIGN FILM

ZERO HOUR

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

From 2023 to 2024, Megaphone worked with Zero Hour- the campaign for the Climate & Ecology Bill. Zero Hour is a plan for a new UK law that addresses the full extent of the climate and nature crisis in line with the most up-to-date science.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Zero Hour wanted a film that could reach general members of the general public – especially those not already totally committed to the climate change. The focus needed to be about the other benefits the Bill will create that everyday people care about. They wanted a big idea that could cut through the main film campaign and the cutdowns.

OUR CAMPAIGN RESULTS

The film secured a Picturehouse cinema run, and was followed by an online organic campaign that had strong results. In its first 7 days:
  • Total of 369,400 views so far
  • Toadwatch reel on Instagram: 25,700 plays (accounts reached 21,000 – of these accounts, 94% were not following Zero Hour
  • 657 new sign ups

IMPACT

The Climate & Ecology Bill is crucial to ensuring that nature is protected adequately and make sure the UK does its bit to keep global heating down to 1.5°C, which gives us a chance to avoid the worst impacts of climate change.

They’re the best creative agency specialising in film production, bar none, that I’ve ever worked with.

Without hesitation, I would recommend Megaphone to anyone. They have laser-like focus on delivering something truly special for their client. They want the impact that you want for your cause, and that filters down through the whole process.

There are plenty of other agencies out there; but with Megaphone you know you are going to get the film you need, no matter what it takes.
