FUNDRAISING AWARENESS FILMS

CURE PARKINSON’S

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

Between 2018 and 2021 Megaphone delivered fundraising films for Cure Parkinson’s, a charity focused on finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease.  They fund research to slow, stop, or reverse the disease.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Megaphone delivered films that were focused on helping raise funds and awareness at private events. The films needed to communicate with donors and the public what the reality of living with Parkinson’s is, and the urgency with which a cure is needed.

OUR CAMPAIGN RESULTS

The films have been used widely at donor fundraising events and have helped communicate why research into a cure for Parkinson’s is so vital. It has helped raise funds for the charity.

IMPACT

Cure Parkinson’s have made significant progress towards their goal – as well as reshaping the approach to Parkinson’s research, they have directly funded, or secured funding, for over £75 million of clinical trials searching for a cure for Parkinson’s.

We asked Megaphone Creative to create a short film to communicate the work of Cure Parkinson’s and show the realities of living with Parkinson’s. Ben was fantastic to work with. Not only did he produce a beautiful film that challenged many of the stereotypes that audiences often have about Parkinson’s, he also showed sensitivity and empathy when working with the participants of the film, all of whom have Parkinson’s. Ben went over and above to make the whole process as undemanding as possible for everyone involved without compromising the quality of the final product. The film has been incredibly helpful to us as a fundraising tool and has been shown at many of our events and presentations.
